CorelSCSI 1.01
Article Abstract:
Corel Systems Corp's $99 CorelSCSI is a must-buy utility program that beats the incompatibility problem for most SCSI storage devices. CorelSCSI lets users effortlessly install and run virtually any SCSI device on the block, and it supports all the major operating systems. It has been certified with over 41 hard disk drives, 22 WORM drives, 13 CD-ROM players and 24 erasable optical units. When tested under DOS and Windows, adding each SCSI device was a snap. CorelSCSI automatically scans the SCSI bus and identifies each peripheral attached; when a peripheral needs a special device driver, the program installs it, references the driver automatically and sets any special parameters or switches.

A major production: Superpage II promises professional typesetting with the PC - at a price
Article Abstract:
Bestinfo's Superpage II, version 2.004, is a 'professional publishing system' intended for magazine, newspaper, and book publishers, with special requirements. The program costs $8,500. Formats are probably the program's most powerful tools. Superpage II accepts ASCII files for word processing formats, and the program uses DOS 2.1 or later version. Graphics capabilities are minimal. The program does not automatically generate an index or table of contents , and it does not link graphics and text together. Superpage II is advantageous if a PC is used as a front end to a non-Postscript phototypesetter.
