London-based publisher Dorling Kindersley's (DK) success is attributable to the 'look' of its products. That look is derived from the company's belief that some people are stimulated more by images, others by words. All of DK's publications, design director Stuart Jackman explained, are designed to appeal to both types of person. The company is producing multimedia and video titles, in addition to books.
