Adobe Premiere 2.0
Article Abstract:
Adobe Systems Inc's $695 Adobe Premiere 2.0 is a helpful desktop video software upgrade that supports both digital and analog video editing. Added features on the upgrade include support for alpha channels, animated titling, multiple master fonts and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator files. The program captures video and audio to QuickTime and outputs the data on videotape. Premiere includes a new titler tool that allows users to make animated and stationary titles, shapes and straight lines which they may use to overlay video or presentation slides. Users can also animate type-style changes in their titles with multiple master fonts. The software also helps users translate their video into television. However, the new version is less user friendly than before, since many of its functions require keystrokes, which users must look up in the documentation.
