Science can help cure university presses
Article Abstract:
A glance at the typical American university press catalog suggest that most scientists burn their keyboards at tenure-celebration rituals and most of them publish their books with giant international commercial conglomerates and at stratospheric prices. Expanding science lists are the natural next frontier and some reasons are discussed that scientists must opt to publish instead of commercial conglomerates.

The integration of the Research Information System in Occupational Safety and Health (RIS-OSH) with the Grey Literature (GL) database and the global system architecture are described. A detailed description of the workflow, which outlines the interaction between the various actors involved in the process of supplying and diffusing results is presented.

The communication flow of research projects results

The link between research projects and scientific Grey Literature is explored and the initial findings of a study aimed at developing RIS-OSH (Research Information System on Occupational Safety and Health) are described. Additionally, the integration of the conceptual model of the RIS-OSH system with the GL database is focused on.
