Wright Design 1.0
Article Abstract:
Wright Technologies' $799 Wright Design, a Windows object-oriented image editor, is one of the richest graphics applications available for any platform. Wright Design maximizes Windows 95 and NT's multithreading capabilities by allowing many images to be loaded and then batch-converted in the background. Although the unusual interface may be difficult initially, it offers valuable flexibility. Each image has its own mask, allowing detailed manipulation and experimentation. Colors, filters and images can be turned into masks and brush strokes with the Paint Style palette feature. Window Design also offers drawing and text-editing tools. Although it lacks style sheets and the capacity to create multipage documents, Window Design is an extensive and effective graphics package.
