A lesson in learning
Article Abstract:
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Continuing Professional Development (CDP) Officer Margaret Harris points out the institution is aware of the difficulty faced by some members when they try to fulfill 20 hours of training per annum. She points out the RICS is trying to help members by showing how CDP can be gained through a variety of avenues. Quintain Founder Adrian Wyatt suggests the RICS needs to be more flexible as the institution failed to recognize his role as a chief executive as CDP. Other members have criticised CDP as being too costly and a worthless exercise.
