A town of ill repute?
Article Abstract:
The town of Brighton, East Sussex, suffers from the seedy reputation given to it by author Grahame Green in his book 'Brighton Rock'. A group of local businessmen have joined forces with the council to fight the town's stereotyped image of an elderly population and seedy gentility by marketing Brighton as a commercial centre. There is almost 400,000 sq ft of high quality office space available, although there remains a core of inferior 1960s and 1970s space. An overview of the commercial and industrial property market in Brighton is presented.

Balancing the odds
Article Abstract:

There is increasing demand for space from under-represented multiple retailers in the town, such as Burtons and Dorothy Perkins. There is limited scope for large-scale industrial development unless the infrastructure is improved substantially. An overview of the commercial and industrial property market in Chichester is presented.
