The differences between hotels and condo-hotels, the mechanics of condo-hotels and the issues pertaining to the development of a condo-hotel that need to be kept in mind by various parties is explained. Greater product consistency, few ownership conflicts are some of the advantages in the investment-oriented condo-hotel concept.

A recent case in England illustrates both the scope of the oright to lighto and the factors considered in determining whether an injunction should be granted when that right has been infringed upon. There is no entitlement to an injunction as of right and there do not need to be exceptional circumstances to justify a refusal.

A recent downtown corporate property intended for sale by a corporate owner by considering the optimal timing of the sale is analyzed. An exercise on the forecast of future market values, which helps to identify the market conditions under which a sale is optimally triggered, is illustrated.
