Development spreads its wings
Article Abstract:
Demand for commercial property exceeds supply at Heathrow Airport, England, and few large buildings are available. Hanover Property Unit Trust has begun construction of the 10,405 sq mt, 30 million pounds sterling Clockhouse Place development close to Heathrow, which is set for completion by autumn 1996. The lack of new building availability means that only secondhand or refurbished stock is available. An analysis of the commercial and industrial property market at Heathrow is presented.

Building confidence
Article Abstract:
In 1994, the town of Woking, England, was suffering from massive oversupply in the office rental market, but two large deals signal signs of a recovery in the sector. Despite such transactions, 283,717 sq ft of available office space remains unfilled and there is not expected to be any substantial new development for some time, with the market for smaller units remaining depressed. An overview of the commercial and retail property market in Woking is presented.
