For buyer's reps lead law unclear
Article Abstract:
The responsibilities imposed by U.S. Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act, 1992 that came into force in 1996 on sellers and their agents to provide information to the house buyers about the presence of lead-based paint has been described. The duties imposed by U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development and U.S Environmental Protection Agency on the buyer's agents, who do not come under the scope of U.S Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act, towards providing information to the house buyers about the presence of lead-based paint has been mentioned.
