Article Abstract:
Industry representatives in the United Kingdom property market are cautiously predicting a slightly better year in 1996 than in 1995, following several over-optimistic predictions in the past. The effect of the Nov. 1995 budget on the property market has been negligable, although better economic policies are expected in the pre-election budget. Less office space will be required as advanced technology is introduced, the emphasis will then be placed on quality rather than quantity.

Article Abstract:
The town of Milton Keynes, England, does not have a surplus of office space, as many other towns do, but prime office rents are still at very low levels. In the industrial property sector, some large areas of space remain available, but the town continues to attract foreign manufacturers. The retail sector shows the greatest potential at present, being boosted by plans for an 80 million pounds sterling expansion of town centre mall.
