Industry taps into diversity explosion

The growth of ethnic populations has made them important consumers in the homeownership market. The National Association of Realtors launched a cultural diversity initiative in 1998 aiming to encourage more people from minorities to become realtors, and to train practitioners in serving diverse populations.

One house many stories
Article Abstract:
The National Association of Realtors in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution has opened an exhibition at the National Museum of American History, Washington, D.C. The exhibition entitled "Within these walls..." is based on a 240 year old house and chronicles the stories of those who lived in it.
