Insurers focus on niche real estate markets
Article Abstract:
Insurance companies have begun to recognize the potential market for properties in localities that have been traditionally overlooked by real estate investors. These financial institutions are preparing to underwrite commercial mortgages on properties located in cities undergoing economic development such as Atlanta, GA, LasVegas, NV, and Fort Lauderdale, FL. These areas have been identified as favorable to real estate development because of their tax credits, economic growth and increasing trade.
