Issues raised on the sale of land
Article Abstract:
The law on contracts for disposing or selling of interests in land was greatly altered by section 2 of the Law of Property (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1989. The act was intended to eliminate doubts arising from section 40 of the Law of Property Act 1925. An exchange of correspondence is legal only if it follows a concluded agreement.
