Broadgate Properties is finalising its EC2 development in London, England. The company obtained detailed planning permission in 1991, and the project has been under construction for the decade to 1995. A tenant may be found from the banking industry. Construction will not commence unles there is a pre-let. Air rights have to be taken into consideration which will add to construction costs. The architect for the project is Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.

Pillar pounces on Cannon Bridge in first City buy

Pillar Property Investments is thought to be offering near to the asking price of 70 million pounds sterling for the 290,000 sq ft Cannon Bridge scheme in London EC4. The 93,000 sq ft River building is occupied by LIFFE, while the main 195,000 sq ft Atrium property is occupied by GNI, NM Rothschild, Allied Trust Bank and LIFFE. The property is currently owned by Cannon Bridge Investments.

Greycoat moves in on its next City office project
Article Abstract:
Property concern Greycoat has purchased the 125-year headleasehold interest in 7-11 Bishopsgate, London, from the Merchant Taylor's Co for around 5 million pounds sterling. The company now plans 55,000 sq ft of offices, with construction expected to be completed in 1997. It has also announced that it has restructured its 25-year lease on Embankment Place, London.
