Medium-hub airports: making a big business connection
Article Abstract:
Companies that rely a lot on air travel usually choose to put up their facilities in cities with large airports. This is increasingly seen in companies aiming at global expansion. However, for companies that predominantly use domestic flights, smaller airports in smaller cities may prove more economical. The airlines serving these airports frequently have lower rates. Such is the case with the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas. Though it does not aim to compete with the airports in Dallas and Houston, it still provides convenient access to key US cities.
