Minefield or goldmine?
Article Abstract:
Business relocation is most significant in its effect on employees and their families, with company relocations involving some 300,000 house moves in 1996, according to the Confederation of British Industry estimates. However moves can present opportunities for companies to alter the working environment and thus improve efficiency. Offices often need to support a much broader range of functions and technologies, along with different working styles, such as telecommuting, hot desking and hotelling.

Article Abstract:

Some observers fear that increased private sector involvement could have a negative impact on the nature and scale of social housing and further damage the competitiveness of housing associations.
