More than meets the eye: transparent security for commercial buildings
Article Abstract:
The terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 have prompted property managers, building owners, and tenants to enhance the security of their buildings. It was observed that the use of transparent security measures is the best way of providing security because it eliminates anxiety and sense of imprisonment among clients. How transparent security is achieved through structural hardening and access control is explained.
