Once more into the breach
Article Abstract:
A UK planning contravention notice must include a time when individuals accused of breaching planning controls can make an application for planning permission or speak to the authorities. A planning contravention notice is issued by the authorities if they feel a transgression of the planning controls has been made. The recipient of a notice must respond within 21 days or be fined up to 1,000 pounds sterling. An enforcement notice may also be issued. The procedure is part of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991.
