Strength in secondhand
Article Abstract:
There is a severe shortage of new industrial property in both Southampton, England, and Portsmouth, England. However, there is a better balance between demand and supply in the secondhand industrial property sector. Demand remains high, and this has pushed rents up. A lack of suitable space means that many companies are having to move further away from the centre of Southampton, and this has prompted the city council to draw up a first draft of a strategy identifying 11 potential industrial sites.
