Venture partners see trade credits as the new corporate currency
Article Abstract:
The barter system of exchange has flourished in the late 1990s but has become more complex in certain business areas. For instance. Cushman and Wakefield Inc and Western Trading LLC have formed a joint venture called Western Trading/Cushman and Wakefield LLC that will use barter to help corporations maximize the value of their real estate assets and improve shareholder value. The aim of the partnership is to provide clients of both entities with a novel but effective trade finance mechanism.
