Foreign companies must consider several factors before locating in Mexico, one of the world's most popular manufacturing nations. Factors to consider include effective communications, knowledge of local and national real estate laws, and labor force management. Mexico has changed its overall governmental structure to aid the flow of foreign capital into and out of the country. Critical changes in Mexican economic policy are discussed.
