Ladbroke Hotels Ltd v Sandhu and another
Article Abstract:
A UK legal case involving Ladbroke Hotels related to a rent review and the repairing obligations of the hotel company as a tenant. The tenant took on a building with an obligation to repair it. A tower had been poorly constructed and there were two options to reparing it. One option cost 500,000 pounds sterling, but, given the building's limited commercial life, Ladbroke Hotels sought to implement a second option costing 60,000 pounds. This option was not permitted.
