The future of the city
Article Abstract:
There is a need to take a much more coordinated approach to the development of the City of London, England, according to government architectural adviser Stuart Lipton. He believes that monorail will be the solution to transport problems. It would be nice to see some new towers in the City, according to government cities adviser Tony Travers. He would also like to see more bridges in the area. Planner Peter Rees emphasizes London as a world centre of excellence, while architect Bryan Avery would like to see gardens and palazzos on the roof of every building in the City of London.
