Highbridge Properties Managing Director Guy Marsden has plans to either float the company on the stock market or to separate from its parent company, National Leasing and Finance. Highbridge has several development schemes underway throughout the UK. It is developing 93 acres of land in Tyne and Wear, England, with the Ashall Group. They have already built three buildings at the Cobalt Business Park. The company has been involved in developing over 2 million sq ft of buildings in enterprise zones. Highbridge has worked in the London Docklands and the Newcastle Business Park.

How to keep the West End vibrant
Article Abstract:
Those responsible for planning property development work in the West End of London, England, must balance the needs of property developers, who seek flexible commercial space, against the needs of local residents and the need to protect the area's heritage. The local city council faces many challenges as it addresses these needs, but feels that it has a good relationship with most of the leading agents who present planning applications. It has also established strong links with the Westminster Property Owners' Association.

Andre Jordan's company Lusotur is developing a "leisure city" on 1,600 ha at the Portuguese resort of Vilamoura, 20 km from Faro. Jordan says that property is the only investment to give both enjoyment and profit.
