Expansion-minded companies achieve business success as they vie to become one of Site Selection's 1997 top 10 development groups. These companies have focused on qualities which include detailed planning and research, valued customer service, healthy teamwork and strong, competitive determination to win. These development organizations have generated an average of $490 mil in corporate capital investments and 7,200 new jobs in 1997. Included in the top 10 are Bryan-College Station Economic Development Corp of Bryan, TX, and Community Development Foundation in Tupelo, MS, among others.
