Uxbridge: balance of power
Article Abstract:
Uxbridge, England, has been affected by corporate restructuring with the withdrawal of three large companies in the 1990s recession. Uxbridge has good transportation links and is well located in England. Rents of offices in the twon have risen in the year to May 1995. There is a speculative scheme to build an office project, Salmon House, which is being built by Kyle Stewart Properties. Sun Alliances plans to build a shopping center, with permission granted in 1991, but no date has yet been decided on when building will start.

Life at the junctions
Article Abstract:
High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, is well located in terms of road links, and this is helping the real estate industry in the town. The town has links with the M4, M40 and M25 routes and speculative developments include a warehouse project by Lancaster land. Standard Life's Kingsmead Business Centre is performing well as an office project. Superstores aound the town include those owned by Asda and Tesco, and there is space for a further superstore.
