When shooting starts
Article Abstract:
Some experts suggest company directors should endeavour to inform their shareholders and other interested parties about the company and what they hope to achieve. Using the media to publish your side of a hostile bid may help to deter the bidders. Others point out a hostile takeover bid backed by sufficient cash will be very difficult to stop and therefore should be accepted. Once a bid has been made it is too late to start building a good relationship with the shareholders and press. A public relations expert will help you to realise your weak areas, in order to make a stronger defence.

There is now less speculative development, but the expansion in property values is stopping or declining.
