Who'll measure up?
Article Abstract:
A committee set up by the Investment Property Forum is likely to call for greater standardization in the way the performance of property fund managers is reported and measured. It is likely there will be some difficulties in working out procedures relating to the different areas of operation undertaken by property firms. The scheme will be voluntary but observers point out once a number of fund managers have joined the scheme the others will also have to comply. It has yet to be decided which organisation will ensure the fund managers are honest.
