Article Abstract:
The personal situations of six firefighters from Philadelphia are presented, which illustrate the health hazards of their profession. Approximately 130 of the city's 4.5 thousand public services workers have contracted hepatitis C, which can be a fatal disease. The city is denying the claims, citing lack of evidence.
