Reflecting on the scope of the European Union (Scrutiny) Act, 2002 and parliamentary scrutiny in the Draft Constitutional Treaty as to European integration and the Irish legal order

The article explores the significance of the European Security (Scrutiny) Act of 2002 with regard to European integration as well as domestic constitutionalism in the Irish Legal Order. The implications of parliamentary scrutiny are examined with particular focus on Article 29.4.10 of the Irish Constitution.
