A good job I haven't paid you yet
Article Abstract:
It is common for home owners in the UK to encounter difficulties with builders as a renovation project comes to an end. Often, the building firm will request a final payment shortly before the work is completed, and home owners may see no reason to hold back this payment. However, this can mean that the builder will fail to return to deal with any problems which may arise after the project is completed. The National Consumer Council points out that it is wise to keep back an agreed amount for a reasonable period.
