How FBI agent sent his son to Death Row
Article Abstract:
John Cook, an FBI agent in Macon, GA, discovered that his son Andrew murdered two university students on Jan 2, 1995. He wished to protect his son, but also had a strong commitment to upholding the law and to his Christian faith. He therefore accompanied his son to turn himself in, and also acted as prosecution witness at his son's trial. He even pleaded with the jury not to spare his son from execution, and Andrew Cook is now on Death Row.
