A single parent with 30 children
Article Abstract:
Julie Carter, who has opened her small flat in Grimsby, England, to teenagers in difficulty, feels that her experiences of theft, prostitution and self-mutilation have given her an understanding that may be lacking in childcare professionals. She feels that she is able to see potential in teenagers who have suffered a lot of rejection, and she is keen to rebuild their self-esteem. The local authority has opposed her actions, claiming that she is causing divisions within families.

Then it arrived: a plain envelope, with strong handwriting
Article Abstract:
Dating agencies have applications from many women aged 40-60 who are seeking a new partner of a similar age, but men of this age tend to be attracted to younger women. It can sometimes be more effective to use the small ads of a local newspaper, as the most successful relationships are those formed between people who live close together. Women are able to advertise themselves free of charge, and this also gives them more control over the process of meeting new partners.
