At 103, he's seen wars and famine but nothing like this
Article Abstract:
There have been a considerable number of very elderly people among the ethnic Albanians who have fled Kosovo, Yugoslavia, and are now living in harsh conditions in refugee camps in Macedonia. These very elderly people have shown great courage and determination, some walking or being carried long distances and enduring hunger and cold. It appears that the very old have the mental resources to cope with great hardship, but this is not necessarily the case with younger refugees.
