Back to the wall
Article Abstract:
The city of Berlin, Germany, has been shaped by its unique history, and is still a city of great contrasts, even though it is now seven years since the physical barriers which divided it for so long were removed. Some buildings, especially those closely associated with communism, now seem very out of place, while some in what was formerly West Berlin seem very bland compared with the elegant buildings of the former East Berlin. Efforts are now being made to revitalise the run-down areas of the city.

The rocket leaving from Gate 18 ...
Article Abstract:
There is very strong interest in space travel among ordinary Americans, and observers are beginning to express the view that there could be great commercial potential for space tourism. However, it is likely that the first commercial space flights will take off from Russia, where there is less concern about safety issues than in the US. It is possible that day trippers will eventually assist in funding space exploration work.

Raving about off-season Ibiza
Article Abstract:
Ibiza, the third-largest of the Balearic islands, is almost entirely given over to the tourist industry, but is still an attractive destination. It has many sandy beaches, cheap and cheerful tavernas and a number of bars. It is worth venturing inland, where there are many hills to climb and it is very peaceful.
