Killer on the prowl
Article Abstract:
The RSPCA and police officers are investigating a spate of attacks against pet cats and rabbits in London, England. In each case, the animal has been mutilated in some way, with some part of its body removed, and the body left in or near the owner's garden. The attacks were initially confined to north London, but have now spread to the south and east of the city. The RSPCA believes that these attacks are not just the result of casual violence, but that they are the work of a seriously disturbed person.

The killing of a priest
Article Abstract:
Violent death has come to be accepted as part of modern British society, but there are still certain murders which shock the general public. This is particularly the case with the murder of public figures such as school teachers and priests. The murder of people who are serving the community seems to be particularly terrible, as it seems to go beyond certain limits and introduce the danger of the collapse of the accepted social order.
