Samuel Beckett kept his first novel from publication because he thought it was not good enough and to protect friends portrayed in it, but he told his doctor before he died that he would not object to posthumous publication. It is published in Nov 1992 as 'A Dream of Fair to Middling Women.' Danis Rose decided that James Joyce's papers in the archives were a book in their own right and published it in 1992 as 'Finn's Hotel.' Archeologists continue to discover pieces of lost works in Pompeii and the Middle East.

Australian poet Les Murray writes a range of verse on social themes, sacred matters, nature, meditations and other subjects. His nature poems describe animal experiences in human terms. Murray believes agriculture is related to poetry. He was born in 1938 in Bunyah, New South Wales, where he was brought up on a farm. He became a Catholic when he was a teenager. He went to university and worked as a translator before returning to the farm to become a full-time poet.
