Buscemi: born to be a baddy
Article Abstract:
Making a film can be very difficult, and it is therefore important for the director to select actors and actresses with whom good relations can be established, according to actor Steve Buscemi. He has recently completed his first writing/directing project, a film entitled 'Trees Lounge.' He appears in the film as a rather sad character, and a key role is also played by Mark Boone Junior, with whom Buscemi has worked for many years. His brother and father also appear in the film.

Trevor the skinhead mellows in the LA sun
Article Abstract:
The rigid class system in the UK leads to stereotyping, according to actor Tim Roth. He prefers the US, where there are more opportunities. He is not really interested in analyzing acting, and believes that he does not really have any technique. He likes to work with first time filmmakers, and finds that film festivals are a good place to discover exciting new opportunities. He regards 'Reservoir Dogs' and 'Little Odessa' as being among his best work.

Handpicked to be a wise guy
Article Abstract:
Filmmaker and actor Vincent Gallo regards himself as a hustler, rather than an artist. He has had no formal education, so has had to hustle constantly to make a living. He likes to be in control, but rejects accusations of narcissism. He feels that he is a very productive person, and is surprised that it has taken him so long to be successful. He appears in almost every frame of 'Buffalo 66,' with which he makes his directorial debut.
