They're mucky, they smell
Article Abstract:
Otterhounds, an old and rare breed of dog, are taking on a new role in the UK as they become involved in tracking down people who are lost in remote areas. A number of these dogs are being trained for a new Track and Search Dog Service for Dorset and the New Forest, and are expected to begin operating properly in Jan 1996. They will be able to track much longer and much colder scents than police dogs.

Who would wish to be wife to the Ginger Man?
Article Abstract:
Sebastian Dangerfield, the hero of J.P. Donleavy's classic novel 'The Ginger Man,' was modeled on Gainor Crist. He has come to public attention once more with plans for a film of the book and for a revival of the stage adaptation. Donleavy himself has also written a complete history of 'The Ginger Man.' Crist himself was charming and debonair man, according to his wife, Pamela O'Malley.
