Article Abstract:
People can often find it very hard to cope with the news that they are being made redundant. Good employers will help by preparing the employees concerned for the news and by offering support and counselling services. However, employees can still feel depressed, bitter and angry. It may be easier to cope if the person concerned can take time to reassess his or her skills and to research the best way to find new employment.

Looking for Mr Even Vaguely Normal
Article Abstract:
There have been a number of cases recently in which women have been killed by a man they have met through a newspaper personal column. It is very hard to tell what a personal is actually like through advertisements of this kind, and lonely women can sometimes find themselves the victim of an unbalanced stranger. The man can seem harmless initially, luring the woman into a false sense of security.
