City life beyond Ernest's Arga saga
Article Abstract:
The city of Pamplona, Spain, gained international renown through Ernest Hemingway's short novel 'Fiesta: The Sun Also Rises,' first published in 1927. However, there are now few signs of Hemingway's association with the city. Pamplona attracts many visitors to its annual fiesta, and is also on the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. There are still some medieval buildings, but the city has changed significantly over the centuries. The heart of the city is the Plaza del Castillo.

Give me a break: Athens on 250 pounds sterling
Article Abstract:
Many of the less expensive hotels in Athens, Greece, are willing to offer lower rates outside the peak tourist season, and this means that attractive deals can be made. The main tourist sights in Athens are the Acropolis, the National Archaeological Museum and the islands. The city's shops are not particularly attractive, although visitors may wish to buy leather items, gold or silver jewellery and honey. Most of the more popular restaurants are in the Kolonaki district.
