Could do better?
Article Abstract:
Some observers believe that academic standards in UK universities have fallen dramatically, with students being unable to write coherently and lacking a basic knowledge of the subject they are to study. This view does not fit in well with the fact that standards in almost all A-level examination subjects have remained almost unchanged over the last 20 years. It is hard to compare academic standards with the past, because universities are now taking on many more students, some of whom would not have been able to enter university in the past.

The will to win, win, win!
Article Abstract:
Competitions are found everywhere in day-to-day life, but most people do not really notice them. However, there are a few people who become obsessive about entering competitions. They are often those who have time to fill, and who enjoy feeling that they have a secret which few people know about. Some subscribe to Competitors Companion or Prize Draw Winner, which offer advice on how to win competitions and analyse winning slogans.

Which hat shall I wear today?
Article Abstract:

More women are going back to work, and this puts their partners under pressure to take on greater responsibility for domestic tasks. Furthermore, men are also under pressure to work very long hours. In many cases, stress will have a negative impact on relationships.
