Where can we go from here?
Article Abstract:
The recent IRA bomb attack in London, England, has provoked intense speculation about the future of the peace process in Northern Ireland. Some observers feel that the IRA has made a serious mistake by returning to violence, and will have badly damaged its image. However, others point out that most republicans do not wish a full return to violence, and feel that there is still hope for a negotiated settlement. Some believe that it is now time to hold an election in Northern Ireland.

Don't swallow the Provos' line
Article Abstract:
Efforts by Irish nationalists to undermine the very existence of Northern Ireland are the main barrier to real peace in Ireland. The Provisionals will probably never agree to compromise, and there is a real danger of a return to violence on a much larger scale than has already been witnessed. Many people join the IRA for emotional or social reasons, and fail to realise that they are being deceived by twisted version of history into taking part in horrific acts of violence.
