Doubts over Aids drugs first expressed in 1985
Article Abstract:
Swiss Dr Jozsef Roka, 68, invented the drugs Rovital and Carciviren, which were recommended for cancer. The Interkantonalen Kontrollstelle fur Heilmittel controls medicines in Switzerland but Rovital and Carciviren have never been registered. They were banned in 1989. The lack of formal human trials casts doubt on the drugs' effectiveness. US company Advanced Biological Systems (ABS) intend to market Rovital and Carciveren as Aids treatment in Harley Street, London, England.

The spy who loved me (and my laptop)
Article Abstract:
Many companies in the UK are becoming increasingly concerned about the possibility of their secrets being stolen by a competitor, and there is growing demand for the services of companies which specialise in detecting industrial espionage. There is a particular problem with the loss of information from travelling businessmen who leave their laptop computer unattended. In this case, it is wise to use a tracker device which can be implanted in the laptop.
