Dr Trevor Lloyd Davies
Article Abstract:
Physician, occupational physician, civil servant and writer Trevor Lloyd Davis qualified in 1932 at St Thomas' Hospital in London, England. By 1935, he was Resident Assistant Physician. He joined the Boots company as an industrial medical officer in 1937, and became chief medical officer in 1946. He was appointed Professor of Social Medicine and Public Health at the University of Malaya, Singapore, in 1953. He returned to the UK in 1961 as Senior Medical Inspector of Factories.

Barrister Nicola Davies has gained a reputation for having a tough approach following the publication of her report following an inquiry into the murder of an untrained volunteer hostel worker by a severely mentally ill patient. She is now to tackle another difficult issue, child abuse, and will produce a report folloiwng an investigation into child abuse at children's homes in North Wales. She has become highly respected, and has become a mentor for younger women barristers.

Article Abstract:
Biblical scholar William Davies was born in Glanaman, Wales, in 1911. He studied at the University of Wales, the Memorial College, Brecon, and Cambridge University. He was ordained into the Congregational Church in 1941.
