Dreamers who win power will alter the dream
Article Abstract:
The UK Labour party has been in power for much less of the 20th century than the Conservative party, and has therefore frequently been radical, having a considerable impact on the direction the country has actually taken. In contrast, the Conservative party has had to be pragmatic and give some consideration to national direction. However, these roles now seem to be changing, with the Labour party seeking to position itself as the pragmatic party of government while the Conservatives are taking on an opposition role.

Breakfast time, and he's full of fight
Article Abstract:
UK prime minister John Major is not a naturally talented orator, but he has a way of holding the attention of his audience. He comes across as thoughtful and friendly, and seems to be at ease with himself. He is able to compress and project arguments in an extremely effective way and to clearly represent his main themes. This ability will prove very valuable as he prepares to fight the forthcoming general election.
