Exploiting another level on the ladder of learning
Article Abstract:
A postgraduate degree can be very valuable in the UK's competitive employment market, but choosing the most appropriate degree from among the many on offer can be a complex process. A research-based degree such as a PhD involves a great deal of independent work, and some postgraduates may find this difficult. In contrast, a taught postgraduate degree is more structured, with regular tutorials or lectures and a clear progression from one unit to the next.
