Facing up to the past
Article Abstract:
Having a famous parent can be very difficult for someone seeking to establish an acting career in their own right, according to actress Kate Beckinsale. Her father, actor Richard Beckinsale, died when she was only five years old, but is still seen very regularly on television. She has recently appeared in a number of high-profile roles, but they have nearly all been period productions. She had a rather traumatic childhood, but feels that she has generally been very lucky.

The queen of seduction
Article Abstract:
Actress Jeanne Moreau believes that she has gone beyond the stage in her life when she needs to try to be seductive. However, she is still regarded as extremely attractive. She is half English, and feels that she sometimes has typical English distance and an unusual sense of humour. She has never been motivated by the need to find one special person in her life, and has come to the conclusion that few people ever experience true love.
