Food for thought
Article Abstract:
Japanese duo Cibo Matto, made up of Yuka Honda and Miho Hatori, has recently released its second album, entitled 'Stereo Type A.' This album is very different from the duo's first album, 'Viva! La Woman,' which contained many songs about food. The new album is more mainstream pop, and has a number of potential hits. The sound has changed as a result of contributions from Sean Lennon and Timo Ellis. However, Honda and Hatori are still strongly committed to taking an innovative approach to their music.

Article Abstract:
A lot of the best folk music is actually urban, according to singer-songwriter Richard Thompson, who now lives in Los Angeles, CA, but continues to gain inspiration from London, England. He feels that he is very shy, but enjoys hearing people's stories. His new album, 'Mock Tudor,' contains pain and anger in many of its songs, but there is an underlying atmosphere of decency and optimism.
